citypass-barcelona.com is an independent comparison site for the Barcelona sightseeing passes. They do not all come from the same kind of house. The Barcelona Card is issued by Turisme de Barcelona, the city's tourist board, and is sold for 48, 72, 96 or 120 hours. Go City and Turbopass issue their own passes beside it. Barcelona has no single official pass, so the products differ not only in price but in what they are built around.

Which one fits you depends on where your Barcelona sits between two quite different offers. The city's own card leads with the museums, the Picasso, the MNAC, the Miró Foundation, CaixaForum, and its standard version carries unlimited metro, bus, tram and the airport link; a second version strips the transport out again. The commercial passes lead with the Gaudí headliners, the Sagrada Família, Park Güell, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, and treat transport as something you add. A trip built around Gaudí and a trip built around museums therefore end up holding different cards, and a two-day stay with two timed tickets usually ends up holding none.
